Locations

Find the Opto Bar nearest you.

Every location sits inside a Walmart Supercenter, so an eye exam fits into a trip you were already making. Walk-ins welcome.

The exam

A high tech exam,
made convenient.

Digital instruments, images of your own eyes on the screen beside you, and a care team of trained technicians and optometrists working together on every exam.

  • Vision and prescription testing on a digital phoropter
  • Retinal photography — see the back of your own eye
  • Dry eye imaging, for symptoms most people never get named
  • Contact lens fitting and evaluation
  • Children’s and family exams — a full exam, not a screening

Why it matters

Your eyes show more
than your prescription.

A full exam can surface signs of diabetes, high blood pressure and dry eye long before you notice symptoms. That is why we image every eye, not just measure it.

Community

Meet me at the Opto Bar.

Every store has a Polaroid wall. Get your exam, take a picture, leave a note for the next person in the chair. Local pastries on opening weekend, and a neighbourhood feel we intend to keep long after.
